Weight89 g
Length135 mm
Body diameter23 mm
Head diameter30 mm
Materialaluminium alloy with HAIII hard-anodized finish

This 89 g flashlight would generally be considered lightweight and easy to handle for most people. The length of the TA01 flashlight can affect its portability. A shorter flashlight is generally easier to carry in a pocket, bag, or pouch, making it more convenient for everyday use or when you're on the go. Aluminium body of TA01 is known for its durability and strength. It offers excellent resistance to impacts, scratches, and corrosion, making it suitable for rugged outdoor use or in demanding environments.

Hard-Anodized Type III (HAIII) is a specific anodizing process that creates a thicker and harder oxide layer compared to regular anodizing. It involves subjecting the aluminum to a higher voltage and a sulfuric acid bath, resulting in a dense and durable coating. The TA01 flashlight is available in black.

Switchmechanical rear, rotary rear

The emitter of TA01 manufactured by Cree, a US-based LED manufacturing company. Cree is a well-regarded LED manufacturer known for its high-quality products and innovation in the lighting industry. Color temperature is a characteristic of light. It is measured in units called Kelvin (K) and is used to quantify the color appearance of light sources, particularly white light. The TA01 has an orange peel (OP) textured reflector. Orange peel reflectors have smoother beams.

This flashlight has an AR coated lens. This Anti-Reflective coating is a thin optical coating applied to the surface of the lens to minimize reflections and improve light transmission. The multiple switch configuration on the TA01 flashlight can be a useful option, providing additional versatility and convenience in operating the flashlight. The TA01 has mechanical switch. Mechanical switches are known for their durability and reliability. They are typically built with robust construction, making them resistant to wear and tear, and capable of enduring various environmental conditions. The rear switch of TA01 is typically operated with the thumb or finger, making it easily accessible and convenient to use. The positioning of the switch at the rear of the flashlight allows for natural and intuitive operation, particularly in one-handed scenarios.

Flux500 lm
Intensity8556 cd
Throw185 m
CD/LM factor17.11

500 lm can provide a decent amount of brightness and be suitable for many everyday tasks, it may not be sufficient for certain scenarios or individuals with specific requirements. With 8556 cd, the TA01 flashlight provides a noticeably brighter and more intense beam of light. It can illuminate objects or areas with greater clarity and visibility, even at longer distances. The throw is the calculated distance in meters at which the flashlight produces a light intensity of 0.25 lux. The cd/lm factor (candela-to-lumen ratio) provides information about how concentrated or focused the light output of a light source is. A higher cd/lm ratio indicates that the light is more concentrated in a specific direction, while a lower ratio indicates a more diffused or spread-out light output.
